What Research Groups are there in SI or NYS

From youtube searches and public access TV there seems to be so many research groups, hobbyists and people interested in hauntings on SI?

How many are there? Who are they?

I've seen scared they are a cute group. I saw the franks box video on youtube but I couldnt hear well.

Are there every any paranormal or alternative fairs in SI that let people interested in this stuff get together?

I would love to help organize a festival of people who are interested in alternative sciences for SI.

That would be awesome! You could look into Everything Goes Book Cafe. They had offered their room to us once.

Well, besides us, there is Scared, as you said. They film investigations, mostly of historic locations, but they've done homes, too. We lvoe them and have worked with them before. There is "The Darkside of SI"- a group of younger people just out of high school. They've done mostly outdoor stuff, but a few other locations. They are awesome, too. EPIC is another research group. A young guy named Dan runs SIGhosthunters.com. He's been to a bunch of our things. That's all the people that we've worked with.

It would really be nice to get those and other people together to have some sort of staten island round table.

Im so selfish I want something like an evolve fest but more esoteric and less yuppy

i dont know where to begin. Venue or guests or anything. I want to find like minded people though to discuss anything from paranormal fiction or tv shows to actual hauntings.

It would be nice to have some sort of meetup.

We did discussion groups in the spring. I have to book more for the fall.
