hi my name is Anthony, im from staten island,newyork. i been into ghost hunting since i heard my first ghost stories as a kid. im tryin to start a team and do this as a hobby. i have when to the seaview hospital site,the monestary,and the other night i was at historic richmond town. i heard about your forum board site and had to join.???wat kind of equipment do u need to do investigations...so far i got a digital camera and a bunch of flashlights

HELLO EVERYONE. my name is billy and I was a member for a very short while. It's really nice to see the group succeed like this.I was born and raised on staten island.I LOVE recording evp. i have a little sister that passed and I actually have heard from her.I record every chance I get.

Thanks for your interest, Ghostbuster. We aren't looking for new members at this time. We do have a lot of tours and events coming up, though, that we'll be posting info on soon. We're working on our spring/summer calendar.

To answer GHOSTBUSTER...You may also want to try some digital voice recorders. We (SIPS) have so much success with capturing EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) on them. It's also helpful to set up video cameras to try to capture any type of visual supernatural phenomenon such as moving orbs, phantom smoke or even, if you're lucky...full bodied apparitions! Hi,
I'm able to communicate with both of my deceased parents. It first started while taking photos at their grave and I realized they were in them. Then, to my surprise while video recording at their grave while talking and taping the new flowers, etc.. I had placed. Once, played back at my home I realized my father spoke to me over and over. I found out that they are called EVPs. I was so thrilled!!!!! I now have at least 900 hours of talks with my parents with the use of my Olympus digital voice recorder. I can be at their grave, in my car, or at my home and they come to me all the time! I'm truly AMAZED by this powerful pleasant gifted connecting.
I would like to meet people who have experienced the same as me. And hopefully have a group with top quality equipment do a session in my home here on Staten Island. I'm looking for someone who is reputable and serious. Thanks, DD

Hello everyone. My name is Kristie DeLouise, born and raised in SI. I currently reside in Great Kills and go to school at Parsons School of Design for Design and Technology as well as science.
