Hi everyone...This is Lisa, co-founder of SIPS...This is my third name on this site because I keep forgetting my screen name..lol...so I decided to go with one I know I wont forget.... I want to thank everyone for their interest in SIPS and the paranormal field in general. Although we are currently not excepting any new members to go on hunts with us, we still consider all of you important aspects of our research into the other side with your feedback on the evidence we find…Thank you again. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting and talking about our experiences or just talk about the paranormal? We have a location in mind where we can hold our discussion. Just to remind you, we occasional have public ghost hunts and we would love if you could join us. Write back to let me know. Lisa

I know we're new and all but we would love to meet up with people with the same interests. To be honest we were hoping you already do this. If you come up with a location we'll definitely come along!

The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum has agreed to let us hold a "Paranomal Meet and Greet" in December! We'll post more details soon. We're going to ask that everyone make a $5 donation to the Museum (which is cheaper than their regular non-member rate of $10, so we're very grateful to them!). We'll have refreshments and stuff there and we'll be able to dissucc paranormal issues with like-minded people!

Yes Amy thanks for arranging a meet up. Chris and I will definitely be there! It was great meeting you last night and the ghost tour was great fun. We want to go to the next tour whenever it is! I was fascinated by the Matrons House (I think that's what it is called). Would love to spend a night in there! In case you don't remember me I was the one with the big flashlight!

Hi, I was also at the Snug Harbor Tour and I thought it was great. I think having a discussion at a designated place sounds pretty good. Looking forward to it. Hoping to see you soon! Patty

We had an awesome time! Thanks to everyone who came to the event!
It was great having a forum to share stories like that and hear other people's thoughts. We are definitely open to doing it again in the future.
My question would be, should we have a specific topic to discuss or is an open discussion the best idea?
Would it be good to have an hour of stories and then an hour of a specific topic, for example, EVP?
Would it be best to have the discussion go around the table so that everyone gets a chance to speak?
An hour of discussion and guest speakers sometimes?
What does everyone think of these ideas?

Yes, I agree with Lisa-- a specific topic would be great, and I think we should conduct at least part of it by moving the discussion around the table in a controlled fashion. I felt bad that some people got up and left after the conversation was dominated so long by some people . Over all, it was great, and you're welcome to do it at the GMM again!

I had a great time myself. I really enjoyed it and hope there will be more. I thought it went pretty well also but I also agree that it should be more controlled. Thanks for an awesome night.
