I just wanted to congratulate everyone involved with the Snug Harbor Ghost Tours on Halloween Night. It was a great success and there was an incredible turn out of guests. The first tour consisted of about 25 people and the second tour was so large that we had to split into two groups! Kudos to us!! I hope everyone that came on the tour enjoyed it as much as we did.

Just wanted to let you guy know that the Halloween walk was great. We had a lot of fun. Thanks to all of you who hosted it....... It was well worth it. I was sorry I missed the flashkight walk in May.. Will you be having another soon? Well thanks again....

I am new here, but my friend and I will be there on Halloween for the tour. We just reserved our spots !!!!! We cant wait. I read that everyone said last years was a success but what exactly will we be doing? What should we bring bedises, like a camera ? Any suggestions will help !!

Definitely bring a camera!! And a flashlight! We'll be touring two buildings and walking the grounds. We'll be talking about the stories we've been told about SH. We also have a special guest coming from Keyport paranormal with a communication device. He's going to demonstrate it. I have never seen his in person, so we'll be as surprised as everyone else!

Where is everyone meeting tomorrow night? I know how to get to the main entrance (I have only been there once before), and wanted to know which building are we meeting in?
I can't wait to see what happens as well! I have a funny feeling we will be visited by many 'guests'!!

I was told we are to meet at the VMH building. The girl at the box office said that its the small building that looks like a chapel......NOW.....the other question.........Where is the VMH building?  ?? Anyone know where it is from the main gate?? |

I asked the woman on the phone at the box office if the chapel had a bell in front of it and she said yes. I was at Snug Harbor in the summer taking photos for a scouting location and I remembered the chapel. If you are coming from the main gate, just follow the road that turns to the left (after the parking lot) and pass the fields (where the botanical gardens are) and go straight up on that street and the chapel with the bell in front will be on your right side.
This makes me want to go over my photos from Snug Harbor, Alice Austen House and Richmondtown to see if I saw any orbs or irregularities in them. Mind you, the photos were taken in the daytime!

Yep. Everything you guys said is true- VMH building. Follow the main road around and it will be on your right. The big bell is right outside of it.

Hello....Just wanted to tell you guys that my friend and I had a great time on the 2007 Snug Harbor tour. We have a few cool pictures that you guys might find interesting. I just wanted to know if I email the pictures to you, would you be able to post them on the site because I have no idea how to post them here. Im kinda computer "unsavvy".....hoping you can help me.

I have to get my friends camera because shes actually the one who got the shots worth looking at. It seemed that every time she took a picture in an empty room it would come out without anything, but when she took a picture in the same room after I came into it, theres lights either on my face, over my head or just somewhere in my general vicinity. One shot was in the Governors mansion in one of the bedrooms. When we walked in, I told her that I had a creepy feeling in there and the hair on the back of my neck was tingling. She took a picture and there was a colored light right next to me. Then she wanted to take a picture in the room without me in the shot, so I walked away from the general area she was taking the picture in, but im still noticable aaaaaaaall the way in the corner of the picture. Sure enough, the focus of her picture had nothing in it, but right on my face allll the way in the corner theres a light. It was kinda weird, but so freakin cool !! I was a halloween ghost magnet !!! I'll try to get those pictures sent to you as soon as possible !! I cant wait to see what you all have to say about them.
