We recently purchased a JVC Everio G series Digitial Hard Drive Video Camcorder and we wanted to know if anyone has ever picked up any paranormal activity or any EVP's using this. We are going to try tonight to have a spiritual 'calling' of our passed loved ones and we will record it and see what happens. We will let you all know if anything shows up!  |

Ok, we recorded our spiritual calling and when we played it back on the TV, there were a lot of different clicks and knocks that you can hear throughout. We eliminated the ones that were the obvious, but there were still quite a few sounds that we heard. It seemed that my Grandmother (Christine's) came through. She only recently passed away two months ago and I was very close with her.
The absolute positive sound that we heard clearly when we played it back (which gave us the definite proof that she was there), was the footsteps we heard on the ceiling (and no, our landlords were sleeping at that time and no one was awake upstairs). I was talking outloud to Grandma saying I know you are walking right now, (she had extreme difficulty walking even with a walker when passed away and she had always wanted to walk again), and at that moment I said it, we heard clear footsteps above and then I said, oh, I bet you are dancing around in heaven now, and wow, we heard dancing footsteps just then. Dave and I kept playing it back and we couldn't believe the accurate timing!
I can't wait to do this again and hopefully next time, one of Dave's parents will come through.

Christine.....we (our group) has caught EVP on video, but never to a specific person....Did you upload it to youtube yet??

Sorry so late. I just found this forum. The strangest camcorder story I have is: Years ago, me and my friends was filming an amateur horror movie on a graveyard. We filmed half an hour of footage. When we got home even though the tape was half an hour's worth down, nothing was on it! My brother's digital watch said "H" o'clock! Weird Stuff
