My Mother's House

I just felt I would share about my mother's house, where I have encountered the majority of my experiences. (Also, I went to your ghost tours in snug harbor tonight, I enjoyed it very much) Well, my mother's house (Long Island, NY), first of all, is accross the street from a cemetary. My father lived there since he was a child, and my mom lives there now (long story) my dad heard voices from the attic luring him up there since he was a child. When my sister was little she went into the closet in the dining room and came running out screaming that a lady wanted her to play, but the lady was scary and had green eyes and tried to hurt her. I have seen a woman crawling on the kitchen floor and nearly passed out from the weight on my chest, like pressure. Things fly off the bookshelf and hit people as they walk by. Most of my friends wont even go inside, because of the feelings they get. Also every morning at 3am, dead hour, the tv in the living room will shut off or spanish sub titles will come n out of no where and then the door bell will ring outta no where....freaky stuff...one more thing is, one day my family and i were eating at the table and heard running upstairs, my dad ran up to go see (he knew it was something paranormal) and as he went up my sis, mom and i heard a scream, like an ear piercing scream around our table and a breeze passed us and i felt a pain on my leg and i lifted my pants and my legs was cut and bleeding...scary, if I remember anything else I will let you know. Wow! So many stories involving TVs lately! I wonder what that means??

Not sure what kind of thoughts you are looking for. Definitely sounds like something is in the house, possibly negative from what you are describing, but maybe just needs some kind of help? Can't really say without having been there.

This is not to say that I don't believe you, but these are thigns to think about:

The TV- my TV sometimes gets letters and stuff on it. It's been fixed twice, but it is an actual problem, not paranormal. I would say to get it checked by a professional.

Doorbell- That happens. It is possible that it is faulty wiring or someone near you has one and you are getting interference.

Bookshelf- Well, how many times has that happened? Could it be some kind of coincidence? Truck passed by, something shaking, maybe even the person walking by shaking it?

Breezes can really be explained away. Even a scream doesn't necessarily mean it came from the house. Do you have a cat?

Now, your little sister seeing something, could be a child's imagination, but could be she really saw something! My daughter saw something when she was very little every night. Same with you, how old were you?

I wonder if it is possible that the house was built on top of part of the cemetery...

You should think about having investigators come in.

I had owned a house that was built on or right next to a small church cemetery. Its was old and made lots of noises. I never had any odd experiences in the house and I do experience vibes from people I have known past and present alive and dead.
Had someone very close to you died because your senses are heightened when this happens?
